One of the services that makes Florida Hospital HospiceCare unique is our "Friends with Flowers" program.

Recently, a group of ladies in the Ormond Beach/East Volusia area, organized a group to compliment the Flagler Friends with Flowers, who have been providing this service to our patients and their families in the Flagler County area for the past couple of years. 

The volunteers arrange flowers and deliver them to our patients in area facilities, private residences and our in-patient units. Their goal: just brighten a patient's day!

The newest group of 5 volunteers- Teri Kowalski, Judy Miller, Marty Stephens, Rosemary Duckett & Jean Lewis, meet weekly at Simply Roses Florist in Ormond Beach. Owner Ashlee Nolan has donated work space and has agreed to donate flowers as well as the local wholesaler- Flowers Central Inc.

As you can see, the flowers not only brighten the day of our patients - but the volunteers as well.
